This baseline assessment is primarily intended to provide comprehensive data on the existing gender equality in the energy sector and is focused on creating awareness and strengthening the
mainstreaming of gender equality and a rights-based approach in the energy sector. The study focuses on four public institutes in the Ethiopian energy sector, of which two are dominant players in the
country’s energy sector.
